We grow much of our own vegetables and source our salmon and lamb locally: the Grös mission is wholesome food, competitively priced. 

 

Located in a quiet corner of Iceland, along the Diamond Circle, some 30 minutes from Iceland’s Ring Road and the iconic Dettifoss waterfall. We depend on travelers and over the summer our opening hours are long – morning to night. 

 

Menu highlights include the ‘vegetarian of the day’, salmon from a nearby land-based aquafarm, the Grös veggie burger and homemade Icelandic meatballs. 

 

Lunch buffets on Fridays and Saturdays, from June to August. 

 

But it’s not just about nutritious meals. Ice cream, waffles and cakes are part of every good vacation, too.
